Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to Sparkle on your special day, we look forward to working with you. We have a few Ts & Cs we would like to make you aware of.

 

When your booking is taken, your date is secured following a non-returnable 25% booking deposit or full payment for the trial, whichever is the greater, paid by cheque or bank transfer. If a trial is included, a 50% interim deposit (minus anything extra paid to cover cost of trial) is made following the trial (no later than 30 days from the trial or two weeks before the wedding, whichever is earlier). If no trial is needed 50% of the whole booking will be taken at the time of booking. Regardless of trial, the remaining 25% or 50% balance is to be paid two weeks in advance of the occasion. Funds must have cleared prior to the occasion in order for us to attend.

 

Airbrush make up must be requested at the time of booking. If you wish to add this on at a later date, we will make every effort to accommodate your wishes but it cannot be guaranteed.

 

If a booking is cancelled following a trial, any remaining money owed for the cost of the trial is to be paid within a week of the trial.

 

If a booking is cancelled after the 50% interim deposit is made and up until 14 days prior to the wedding, any money paid is non-refundable, however no further fees will be owed. If a booking is cancelled within 14 days of the occasion, full payment will be owed.

 

Any communication regarding the booking must come through the central Make Me Sparkle Team, not the stylist/artist. You have been given these contact numbers purely for contact on the day of the trial/wedding. If you would like to rebook a stylist for another occasion, please come back to your booking contact and request the stylist by name.

 

Disclaimer: Allergies & Injury

If you have any skin irritations or known allergies, it is your responsibility to bring this to the attention of the bookings team when you are asked to fill out our consultation questions.  You also have the opportunity to make your hair stylist/make-up artist aware of anything before we commence. We take no responsibility for any irritations or allergic reactions that may occur during the use of our products. If you have known allergies we suggest you supply your own tested products for use by our team.  All of our stylists will take the utmost professional care during the application of make up and in hair styling. It is the clients responsibility to alert us to sensitive skin or allergies. In cases of sensitive skin we will suggest that we use the clients own products to avoid reactions. We will not be held liable for any damage or injury that may result during the normal use of tools/skills/products.

 

Payment of the 25% deposit is taken as acceptance of all of these terms and conditions.

 

Unless otherwise agreed, if any payments are not paid by the dates shown in this document, we cannot guarantee availability on your wedding date. If you have any concerns about meeting any of the payments please let your booking contact know and we will do our best to accommodate a payment plan.
