Take a look at some of the questions we have been asked by our brides before. If you have a question that’s not been answered please send us a message.
“Do all my bridesmaids need to have a trial?”
Not at all, we understand that budget can be a consideration, so you may like to have a trial just for one of your bridesmaids, if they are all having the same hair or make up style. Alternatively you may like to bring a couple of pictures to your trial so you can discuss styles with your stylist. Brides often bring bridesmaids along to the trial for a second opinion so ideas can be discussed in person. Trial numbers are completely up to you, but please bear in mind if a trial doesn’t take place there may not be time on the day for girls to change their minds about their chosen styles.
“My husband to be is likely to be home at the time of the trial, am I able to come to you instead?”
Absolutely, we have a relaxing salon in Hythe, Kent, you are welcome to come and see us here. Depending on your stylist there may still be a small charge for travel, please contact us for an accurate quote.
“I heard hair goes up better when it is greasy, when is the best time to wash my hair?”
In fact that’s a bit of a myth, it’s actually the moisture content that can cause a problem with putting hair up, so it is often better to wash hair the night before to ensure it is properly dry before we start work. However the advice may change depending on the style you opt for, so your stylist will advise you on this at your trial.
“I have a tattoo and I don’t want it to show on my wedding day – can you cover it?”
Yes, no problem. We have special tattoo-covering make up that works a treat – have a look at our Facebook page for some before and after tattoo coverings – you wouldn’t know they were there!
“I would like to go ahead and make a booking, what do I need to do?”
Either send us an email to email@example.com or fill in one of the online forms, telling us how many of you there are, what services you require and your location. We will then pop you a quote over, booking form and trial date and if you want to go ahead all you need to do is pay the 25% deposit to secure your date.
