An early start, to get to Bromley to do hair and make up for a photo shoot. Three models, a variety of different looks required and only two make up artists – it’s a tall order. The photo shoot is for a fashion magazine…we arrive at a large house on Bromley Common. The house belongs to a photographer so the decor is superb. There are several outhouses, one a vintage-style Summer house with some amazing props, ideal for the different style images we are trying to achieve.
To create the first look we used Estee Lauder Double Wear for the base, to create a flawless look. Then some highlighting under her eyes and contouring to emphasise the fantastic cheekbones. We created some dramatic eyebrows and eyeliner and then began to prep her hair. To achieve this look we needed to straighten it and tie back tightly to create a sleek effect for the top. We curled to the side with straighteners and wrapped the curls within each otter and pinned.
